The MX-170B is designed to be electrically and mechanically interchangeable with the KX170 series of NAV-COMM's.

The channeling outputs are for 40 channel glide slope (King Glide Slope) and 200 channels (King Slip Code). The MX170B operates on 13.75vdc with 7Adc maximum current in transmit.

NOTE: The early model KX170 had 2 out of 5 channeling and some interchangeability problems may result.

The MX series radios provide a direct plug-in replacement so that no installation modification is required.

All MX radios feature 760 channels with active and standby displays with flip-flop capability and memory storage for both Nav and Com frequencies.
