speaker that gives you richer, smoother frequency response for
both voice and music, while producing incredible efficiency that
emphasizes higher frequencies. The powerful magnetic core and
diaphragm were the perfect choice for high sensitivity and optimized
response. Additionally the speaker is a thin lightweight 7.7-millimeter,
reducing headset weight for added comfort. Audio performance notches
up even higher with the advanced speaker installation technique
that reduces internal ear cup vibrations while increasing noise
attenuation.
Complimenting
this new speaker, the AC-454 features M-60 microphone with an
“active filtering chip” that eliminates up to 75%
of the background noise so that you can be heard more clearly
in even the noisiest of environments like open cockpits. The
ceramic hybrid integrated circuit enhances voice transmissions,
filtering low frequency noise by 12 dB per octave while amplifying
desired voice signals.
Additional
features include a built-in 'Push-to-Talk' button, a favorite
of flight instructors or navigators, convenient monaural to
stereo settings and for well balanced stereo reception volume
controls on each side, plus "gold plated" mic and
headphone plugs, high impact ABS ear cups, and shielded tensile
