  Tie-Down bars are made from high grade aluminum, Hardened for strength, ball burnished, and anodized for corrosion resistance. The closed-end "S" hooks are made of high strength, low carbon, high quality steel and are cadmium plating for weather resistance. The rope is 1/2 inch, three strand twisted nylon with a tensile strength of over 1,000 LBS. Nylon shows excellent resistance to abrasion, Rot, Mildew, and Petroleum products, and most Chemicals. We highly recommend periodic inspections and replacement whenever necessary.
